Activated carbon filter adapter 18.8mm to 18.8mm with blue roll stopper

You need about 5-7g of activated carbon in order to fill the activated carbon adapter. The period in which you need to replace the activated carbon and clean the adapter depends on your smoking habits and the amount of dirt that has been filtered.

The Heisenberg charcoal filter can be used with a 12mm Seamine glass sieve or with stainless steel insert sieves. Glass sieves as well as insert sieves are sold separately in our shop. Insert sieves with a diameter between 15-20mm are suitable for the adapter.

Notes on use with different sieves

12mm Seamine glass sieve: Can be easily inserted and removed from the filter. If glass on glass ever jams, simply tap the filter lightly in order to remove the sieve, or gently push it out with a pencil. Be careful when filling in the activated carbon. Do not hold the filter at such an angle that the glass sieve slips and the granulate falls through.

15mm sieves: Easy to insert and remove. Caution is advised when filling in the activated carbon, as a small sieve can quickly shift and the granulate can slip past.

20mm sieves: Sieves with a larger diameter hold the granulate securely in the adapter. In order to remove them from the adapter again, a tool is needed, e.g. a pencil or something similar.
